Works Great. This is my second Brita Pitcher. We still use the first one too. We drink a lot of water. So having two just makes sense. They both fit well in the refrigerator. I used to have the faucet filter. I like this better.

It could be better
Well this was the cheapest Brita model available so I can't really complain! It still does the job. I just don't like how there is no lid for the pouring part of the pitcher. I put a wrap over it so I won't feel like there are dusts or other particles in the pitcher. I have the Marella pitcher with the Maxtra cartridge back home I think the water tastes better with the Maxtra cartridge.

Water tastes worse after filtering
Straight tap water tastes better. I did as instructed. Soaked the filter for 15 minutes and ran a few pitchers through before I drank any. Water tasted bad so I ran a few more pitchers through. Still tastes like chemicals or plastic. I tried filtering the water into a glass pitcher and it still tastes bad. The compartment that holds the filter even smells like chemicals or plastic. I thought Brita water was supposed to taste better than tap water. At least I didn't waste too much money but this experience is not going to make me want to go out and buy any more Brita products.

It works well. There is no incrustation in the kettle after I boiled the filtered water. Although the filter structure is not the same as expected I think it worth the value anyway.

I bought this as a gift for my buddy Bubba after he fixed my chain saw. Bubba only drinks beer but I drink water and his water tasted all RUSTY and had a few little wigglers in it. BUT now I can have great tasteing water at Bubbas and at HOME because I got him the pitcher and some extra filters. I have a slim pitcher of my own at home and you just get used to good tasting water.It works pretty good on making the city water taste good too.

Great Pitcher Pefect for Fridge Storage
We should be keen in whatever that goes inside our bodies especially the water that we drink. There are several diseases that we can get if we drink contaminated water. Even if we have sterilized water in our midst we should still remember that when we drink from pitchers germs and other microorganisms could still lodge in them.But we should not worry any more. We now have the Brita Slim Pitcher that could filter the water that enters into it.

I didn't want to set up a filter with my sink. I use exactly one pitcherfull of water a day. You can change filters every 3 months. Easy to use! Takes up little space. Recommended!The water is to die for.

skepticism gone
I wasn't so sure when I purchased this product I've seen my friend doctor use this from way back and thought why not give it a try. Water in AZ tastes very different. This product took that weird taste away. With all honesty there's a little taste left BUT it makes a huge difference.
